Nessebar is a resort town in Southeastern Bulgaria, located on the Black Sea coast. It is located in the municipality of Nessebar, Burgas region, and adjacent to the north, it almost merges with the largest Bulgarian Black Sea resort, Sunny Beach.
The city is the administrative center of the Nessebar municipality and is one of the oldest cities in Europe, founded more than 3,200 years ago. According to GRAO data, as of June 15, 2022, the population of Nessebar with Sunny Beach is 14,898 people, which ranks it in third place among the cities of the Bulgarian Black Sea, after Varna and Burgas.
