Categorized as a 3-star family hotel, Chichin, you are. A family hotel can be called "the most family hotel in the city of Bansko". The hotel is located near the city stadium, 300 meters from the old town and 500 meters from the center of Bansko, 1200 meters from the starting station of the cable car and 1400 meters from the bus station and the railway station, in a quiet and peaceful area of ​​the city . The family has been hosting guests for three generations! The hotel is called Chichin, originating from the nickname of grandfather Lazar - the first host! Because of his profession - a stone mason in 1950, from the specific sounds during stone processing - "chin - chin", his colleagues started calling him CHICHIN! Grandfather Lazar (Chichin) and grandmother Reina were the first hosts who received students attending the schools in Bansko in 1985. The tourist activity of this guest house is continued by Asen (son of Lazar and Reina) and his wife Elena, who through 2004 the house was restructured into a family hotel, and the children Raya and Lashezar, bearing the names of their grandparents, joined the business! Today, three families who live there throughout the year take care of the most family-friendly hotel, namely: the family of Assen and Elena, the family of Lachesar, Nelly, Elina (aged 7) and Assen (aged 4) (the children again bear the names of their grandparents according to tradition) and the family of Rhea and Tsvetelin! Everyone from our big family is responsible for what they are best acquainted with and we can serve guests using Bulgarian, English, Russian, German and Dutch! Family Hotel "Chichin" offers a cozy family atmosphere in a traditional Bansko style. The hotel offers 14 accommodations for guests (8 double rooms, 3 rooms with 3 beds and 3 apartments with 2 + 2 beds). For the convenience of the guests, all rooms have a terrace, a separate bathroom and toilet with a hairdryer, a refrigerator, a TV with cable TV and Wi-Fi Internet and an Internet port. The products for our Bansko-style specialties come directly from local farms. In the menu we strive to use as much local and regional products as possible. You can also try some homemade food with our own farm products. A buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch/dinner are available for hotel guests. You can often hear in the evenings, by the fireplace, traditional music played by the son Lachezar, sometimes by the daughter Reia, with two accordions and the thunderous voice of grandfather Asen and dear son-in-law Tzavethelin. We have also thought of a convenient connection between the hotel and traditional attractions for our guests - the starting station of the gondola lift, the upper station of Banderishka Poliana (meadow), the warm mineral pools of the village of Banya (6 kilometers) and the town of Dobrinishte (6 kilometers), Ognyanovo (40 kilometers), Rila Monastery (95 kilometers) and other buses available to guests from the hotel, with 2 micro! Traditionally, we also meet guests at the airports in Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Of course, we try to modernize our base by offering our guests the use of a sauna and steam room! The hotel has a pool with jacuzzi in one, which offers to organized groups and only for organized events. We care about the environment and strive to reduce our carbon footprint through efficient and optimal use of our facilities, which are heavy users of energy and other natural resources!
